The TickerAshley Harkleroad gave birth to a baby boy at the end of March, according to website reports. She has said she hopes to return to the tour as early as this summer.

The TickerJohn McEnroe, speaking to French weekly Le Journal du Dimanche: "I would really like to help Roger. Especially as he needs to change his strategy if he wants to beat Nadal. And I have an idea about that."

The TickerAmelie Mauresmo has pulled out of Marbella.

It was the biggest win of my career so far," said Azarenka, who won 10 of the last 11 games. "I was just so happy to finish that match, because I was getting a little bit nervous in the end."
