Rain is expected during both the men's semifinals and women's final at the US Open on Saturday, with a washout possible as the last stages of tropical strom Hanna reach the New York area.

"The USTA has several contingency plans in place depending on the time and duration of the inclement weather," said an advisory from the USTA. "Those plans will be implemented and communicated as the forecast develops throughout the day on Friday."

Both men's semifinals, schedueld for the afternoon, must be completed on Saturday in order the to make a Sunday men's final feasible. If the men's semifinals are completed and the evening women's final is delayed, the women's final could be moved to Sunday if delayed and still allow the tournament to finish on time.

If matches are rescheduled, ticketholders will be able to exchange their tickets for the equivalent rescheduled session.
