The TickerAndy Murray on sliding on clay: "When you start trying to force your movement on clay, that's when you get sort of all mixed up and you'll slide a little bit too far, or your feet will sort of go from underneath you. You have to try to be light on your feet. Once you start thinking about it too much is when it starts to become an issue.

"When you're on hardcourts, when you're on the run you sort of hit the ball when you're in the air and then you land after you hit the shot and then turn back. Whereas on the clay if you do that, you land and you keep on sliding and takes a good half a second, which makes a big difference. It's about making sure that you're sliding into the shots when it's wide and it cuts off a lot of the court that way."
